Welcome 2023

Thank you for your business in 2022 !! It was a great year with sales growing over previous years .  Most importantly we continue to expand our business with great customers, new business contacts, new products and the best reward of all – being a part of your build, Thank you

I always look forward to the new year, clean slate- fresh start kind of vibe, that always holds promise.  New products are always fun to bring out and it’s rare that I turn down an opportunity to create a new conversion,  work with a new spindle or do something that no one has done

This year I have some new items we have been working on with a few customers, some relevant to a lot of folks, some not so much but still pretty cool and worth the mention.   C10`s  They are popular no doubt…  We have been itching to do a conversion based on a hub and bearing type knuckle, well – we have a prototype bracket and some mods detailed to make that happen, a customer approached wanting this exact thing so with some c.a.d. design and some laser cutting we have a bracket for the CPP ModX10 spindle.  Still in prototype but it is a working prototype, all the T’s crossed and I’s dotted, look for this to show up very soon

An odd spindle crossed our bench late last year, a mix of the GM short spindle and the Mustang II spindle, it also had the 40`s ford bracket pattern.  Total cost involved (TCI) pro touring spindle, we designed and created hubs to make the 16+ZL-1 390MM Monster brakes fit this little guy. It wont get its own category or even a posting offering these, but we are now part of a beautiful 69 pro touring Camaro being put together by Day`s Auto Parts.  I`ll add photos if we ever get any

Last new thing on the bench that should be a hit is a C5,C6 conversion to C7 brakes and basically all GM Brembo brakes.   I`ve seen post after post about will the C7 brakes fit my C6? or my C5? and it’s not a option sadly.  Looking at the two they do have some similarities but also they have different mount locations.  While I pondered how to achieve a simple bolt on bracket it occurred to me that I had seen this exact bearing and anchor mount location before, Yes! Gm has used that same exact pattern in another vehicle with a pull type park brake actuator. SO Now I`m confident we can get a park brake onto that C5 or C6 spindle, That was the missing component, without that your limited to automatic transmission cars only… and that leaves out about what 75% of vettes ??   So yes with the park brake solution on the board this is going forward and hopefully we see a front and rear Brembo swap for the C5 and C6. very very soon!

Happy New Year Everyone!

  1. Hi Dave,

Yes the hubs will fit a disc or drum spindle, the speedway Tall G comp spindle too. This spindle is not ideal for the brembo bracket however, it has a wider upper structure for the ball joint and some of that would need to be ground back for the upper caliper bolt clearance

  2. Hello,
I am building a 65 Chevelle 2dr wagon. I would like to use your A body 64-72 billet hubs on Speedway’s G-Comp tall spindle PN 91035001. Your description say the hub fits Drum brake spindles. Will your hub also fit the Speedway spindle? The Speedway spindle is supposed accept OEM disc brakes

    Thank your for help,
