Choose this option to convert your own spindles to accept the newer more powerful Brembo brakes. This is for the do it yourselfer. These are the core components to the Gen V and Gen VI Camaro SS, ZL-1 Camaro, CTS-V2 Cadillac and C7 Z51 & Z06 brakes, convert your spindles easily with confidence. Instructions with diagrams are supplied to guide you through the installation of the brackets to your spindles and within an afternoon you can have the satisfaction of creating your own Brembo Bigbrake kit. To make it possible to keep the track width near stock, some applications require the back of the caliper to be clearanced for the bracket. We offer this service, this operation only removes a minimal amount of material and is accomplished with a fixture for holding the caliper and horizontal milling machine.
IMPORTANT!
- CTS-V2 Conversions: Require caliper clearing to fit the bracket, rotor pilot hole enlargement, contact us if you need these services
- Gen V Conversions: SS calipers-No Mods required, ZL1 requires caliper clearance work, all rotors need pilot hole enlargement.
- GenVI Conversions: SS calipers require clearance work and use of C7 Z51 rotors, 1LE calipers: require clearance work use C7 Z06 rotors.
- C7 Conversions: Z51 and Z06 require caliper clearance work, no rotors mods needed.
This option consists of the following:
Laser cut adapter brackets
Wheel hubs with longer studs
All necessary mounting hardware for bracket and calipers
Instructions
*We suggest you have the following to utilize this option: mechanical ability, bench with a mounted vise, reciprocating saw, drill, drill bits, tap and handle. Some way of clearing material for caliper fitment (Mill w/ fixture to hold caliper recommended)
