Description
For your 82-92 F Body. Choose this option to convert your stock brakes to newer more powerful brakes. This set-up takes the guess work out of modifying spindles, applying the brackets and cutting your own hubs to create a factory brake based conversion, simply add your own readily available parts to create your own system specific to your needs. Comes pre-assembled.
This conversion consists of the following:
New Hawk`s 1LE spindles
Choice of Laser cut conversion brackets
Wheel hubs with longer studs
New hardware consisting of: wheel bearings, grease seals, spindle nut kits, dust caps, 10.9 fasteners
Assembly
Optional brake hoses
Conversion specifics:
LS1, C5/C6 conversions are all bolt on and go conversions (no mods to calipers or rotors needed)
Most brembo conversions will require either a caliper modification (clear to fit bracket) or a rotor modification (open pilot holes) Just email us with any questions about wheel size, recommendations, mods required etc.. It is best to place the year of your car and the brakes you will be using in the notes section when you purchase. We will reach out to you with the contact info you leave with any questions.
- 6 Piston calipers will require the use of stainless hoses (choose accordingly)
