Front Brake Swap Info

We offer solutions for adapting later model brakes to your early model cars.  Using Cad laser cut steel brackets, the front spindles are modified to accept these brackets.  Generally the original rotor is used as a hub, being turned down on a lathe allows us to install a larger late model rotors over the original.  Modifications to the hub besides diameter turning can include longer studs and also larger bearings for some applications.  With those modifications you can now utilize late model brakes to bring your car onto the level of today`s braking standards.  Some systems require rotor and or caliper modifications, we offer the services required for those particular swaps.

Our business started with the 3rd gen F body Camaro`s and Firebirds but has now evolved into many more models from GM and Ford`s mustang II.  Our brake front conversions now include swaps for the following:

1964-1972 Gm A Body (Chevelle,El  Camino, Malibu, GTO, Lemans, 442, Cutlass, GS, Skylark)   -Short Spindle
